Celebrating 50 years with a new outdoor play space!
CCP is always growing and striving to meet the needs of our community. CCP, being a thriving preschool, chose to expand in a wonderful way in honor of it's 50th birthday.
CCP added an outdoor play space which allows for extended hours for students 3-5 years of age!
We are extremely thankful for the generous donations and fundraising, making this dream possible. This was a large project which required a lot of planning, time and funding.
We are very excited to have this new addition for our students, and to no longer be limited to a half day program.

Our History
Christian Cooperative Preschool, fondly known as CCP, was founded in1968 at Old South United Methodist Church. CCP began as a place for children to play and for their mothers to share parenting concerns. The program has expanded to about 65 families from Reading and the surrounding communities. Since 1968 the goal has remained the same; to provide a warm caring place for children and their families.
CCP is a preschool program offering classes from September to June for children ages 2 to 5 years.
Christian Cooperative Preschool is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is governed by the CCP Board of Old South United Methodist Church.
CCP is a non-profit preschool program, open to all. CCP does not discriminate in providing services to children and their families on the basis of race, sex, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, marital status, disability, national origin or sexual orientation.
